Hi, a quick question about dates on the RLA Deed of Guarantee if I may?

There are three places to put a date. The one on page 2 where the Guarantor signs is obviously the date he /she signs. However there are two dates at the top of page 1.

1. The first is the date of the document - Does it matter what date is put on here? Is there a requirement for it to be be either before or after the date the Guarantor signs?

2. Also the document refers to the date of the Tenancy Agreement - can this be left blank at the point of signing and pen added later (As the Guarantor Deed will often be produced before the Tenancy Agreement) and again what relationship if any must the date of the Tenancy Agreement have as compared to the date (Or the signing) of the Deed?

Just want to get everything correct as it the only test would be in court when it would be too late!

Thanks.
