It quite easy :o)
Once you have both agreed that their are no issues regarding the condition of the property, the tenant can make a claim by logging onto the DPS website with their password details ( this would have been sent to them when you first secured the deposit ).
You will then get an email from the DPS asking you to log on with your details - if you are 100% ok with returning the deposit, then it will allow you to indicate this - the deposit will be returned direct to your tenants account.
I would not return any deposit prior to the moving out date - hope it all goes well.
