Dear RLA

I regained possession of one of my properties through a court order last september. The tenant left owing rent arrears. The house was a mess, dirty, damaged and items were missing. Despite writing to her at her new address and going through the pre-action protocols, I have not heard a word from her. She owes me nearly £2000.
Today I have received notification of a debt relief order in her name. There are several creditors, and debts total over £9000. After 12 months, she will be free from these debts. I find this totally unacceptable.

I understand I can object to this order.

Do you have any guidance as to what I should include in my objection please?

I am doing some reading on the matter and see that I can include misconduct and other behaviours that may have contributed to her insolvency. She was a heavy drinker. She also had an inheritance of £40,000 which had gone after 6 months. Thank you.
