Rushed Tenancy Let arrangement

Recently my Previous Tennant Left my Property in a bit of a Rush - all bills / rent paid upto date etc.

I advertised the property in the local paper and a chap viewed the house and agreed to take on the agreement,

I didn't complete a Credit Check, or References - I know.

ANyway this guy has signed a tenancy agreement downloaded from the RLA - however I didn't take a bond.

I am not sure if I have put this Guys Surname correctly ?

AM I still covered by all the rules regulations - this guy is paying his rent through Standing order and I do have a signed Tennancy agreement - all's well at present I am just worried if things go wrong.
