Hi Dave

A friend of mine sold her house to a company approx 2 yrs ago and and rented it back from them.

They kept £12,000 back saying this was for essential repairs. In this time they have done nothing subsequently about 6 weeks ago she has stopped paying the rent.

She has now been served with a notice requiring possession. She asked if this was because she has stopped paying the rent, they said no they just wanted the property back.

Appreciate your thoughts on this.
