Dear sir / Madam
I need advice relating to the legal costs.
I persue a claim from an letting agents for neglegence for the loss of rent and damage to the proerty by the previous tenants. Before
the court hearing we decided to not to persue the claim as we not had sufficient evidences to back up the claim.

now we received a letter from the Letting agents,s solicitors asking to agree their costs, and they wil also seeking a cost order in their favour from the court to be detailed assessed if not agreed.

we are happy to pay the reasonable costs to the agents,s solicitors but not as high as they are asking. could you suggest who can help me ?
