Hello Guys
May I start by wishing everyone a Happy New Year and my hopes for 2008 to more peaceful than 2007.

I have an end of Terrace 3 bedroom property 2 floors (Ground and top floor). 4 Sharers currently live their. I want someone's opinion on 2 matters:
1- I want to install Fire Alarm. Can I get away with the standard battery once or do I need to get a BS5839 standard like the one used for HMO?

2- My tenants have been living in my property since end of 2005. They haven't asked me to renew the contract. Do I need join one of the deposit schemes??

Kind regards
Younis
