The mortgage on the property I live in is higher than the mortgage of the property I let.

If I increase the mortagage on the let property and put the additional money raised against my own house mortgage saving me interest on the normal home loan, will I fall foul of the revenue when I try to claim relief on the higher interest payments for the let property?

Thanks
