I acquired my house in December 07. All tenants had vacated the premises before i came into possession. One of these tenants clearly left without forwarding address and with many debts. I return all mail with 'no longer at this address' on the envelope.
In August, a new tenant rented a room from me. The bayliffs are threatening her with taking her car away any time of day or night. she has told them she is not the person they seem to think she is, but they did not want to know... What are her rights? and What responsibilities do I have in relation to this?

Many thanks
