Tenant is moving out 5 months early, wants to go and live with other friends. Now say's that her bed linen has been destroyed by damp in a cupboard in her room, which has caused all of her bed linen to mildew. She want £150 to replace the bed linen.
I am based in London, and my Letting agent has run off with rents that the tenants had paid to him and all of their deposits. The amount she wants for the linen, is the amount the letting agent had as her deposit.
Where do I stand legally.
