One of the flat owners in the building where I own a flat has written asking us all to join in the "Right to Manage" the property. So far the freeholder has been dealing with all management matters--however the company being used is considered worthless and so this is suggested as an alternative.

Could you please advise about the pros and cons of agreeig to this, and has anyone any views on whether its better to extend the lease or to buy a freehold. Thanks
