Do I have statuary rights for the supply of goods the same as I would if I was a private individual? I had a new boiler installed 2 years ago and had problems with it after a few months. The problems have continued undiagnosed until recently the boiler has stopped functioning altogether. If I was a private individual my statuary rights mean I could get it repaired free of charged or replaced for reason of not fit for purpose for up to 6 years. Do I lose this right as I am considered as trade being a landlord?
