Regretfully, one of my tenants has died. She was a sole tenant on an AST that continued into a periodic tenancy. While I appreciate that the personal representatives of her estate will be responsible for any liabilities and receive any benefits due to it.What is the position regarding the question of, when does the tenancy end? Is it determined by death or by any requirement to give notice to conclude the tenancy - that would obviously have to be given by her representatives?
