My tenants have just moved out of a flat having not given me a forwarding address. They paid their rent -so no problem there - but there is loads of post consisting of debts and unpaid bills including utility bills. I have texted the tenant saying would she come and pick up her post but have heard nothing. I am worried that when our new tenant moves in they may be hassled by debt collectors etc. Is there any obligation on me to let all these various companies know that the tenant no longer lives there and also could the address of the flat become black listed and make it difficult for future tenants to obtain credit? Thanks.
