My tenants got so far behind with their rent that I requested that housing benefit pay me direct
Once the first payment had been sent to me the tenants withdrew their claim for housing benefit!!!!!!
They are on DSS and are entitled to housing benefit but their attitude was "if were not getting it then youre not either"
Housing benefit say they cannot force tenants to claim even if they are entitled to it?
Surely the law needs to be changed?
Any thoughts or comments please???
