Proposed rental increase

Hi I would like some advice on how much to increase the rents on flats that we own. The rent has not been increased for 2 years as we were planning on fitting double glazing and carrying out other works to building and felt it would be better to wait until the properties were improved. Do you have a suggested percentage increase that you could recommend. We have done some research locally but the rental values vary tremendously so it is confusing what would be deemed to be reasonable.
