I own one of two purpose-built maisonettes in a building, and I also own the freehold outright. My flat is let to excellent tenants - I've been very lucky. However, the lessee of the upper maisonette is a bit on a nightmare and resists all attempts make repairs which have a material effect on the fabric of the building.

Can anyone direct me to a site that details my responsibilities as well as my rights as a freeholder? I can only find sites targeted at either leaseholders or people with shared ownership.

Many thanks - BC
