Having used a company called "GASELEC" for many years to do the gas and electric certificates for my rented properties I have found this year that they have been extremely inefficient with their billing. Having overcharged me for 6 electrical items (by duplicating them on the certificate) they took from 16th July to 4th September to refund the overcharge. This was after 8 phonecalls to the local office and even then they have not refunded the correct amount and I am still awaiting the rest of the payment to be sent.
I would advise other landlords to use a company that is local to them for their gas and electricity checks.

The problem with this company is their poor customer service as the local contact you have has no power to do anything.
