Anyone else tried using nPower to get a boiler fitted under the scrappage scheme? I tried to get a quote from them, and asked them to contact the tenant for access etc. That was a few weeks ago. I rang again to ask how they were getting on, and they told me that their installation team will not deal with tenants or letting agents in any shape or form; only if I was at the property when they went would they give a quote. I didn't get as far as asking if I had to be there when they did the work; it seems rather absurd. I said I'd try again tomorrow when a manager would be available. (British Gas were excellent in sorting out quotes dealing with tenants for access).
