Can anyone help with this problem?
I had a call the other day from a neighbor to my tenants flat who informs me that the tenant went to prison several months ago and he (the neighbor)had been asked by the tenant to keep and eye on the place. I tried ringing the tenant and couldn't get through so went to the property the next day and sure enough it was like the Marie Celeste there was a stack of mail one from the probation office stating it was a final warning I rang their office and they wouldn't confirm that he was in prison but would ask him to write to me with his intentions! I also rang the council who have been paying his rent, they couldn't offer any advice either. Has anyone had a similar experience or could advise me how to proceed as his tenancy has now expired.
