In February of this year we served notice to a supplier and were advised we had to give 12 months notice to cancel the contract which we did however we have not used their services since notice was served and now they are invoicing us for no adhearing to the cancellation notice in the contract, we have served the notice just not used thier services during the notice period, Is this legal and how can we stop being charged a cancellation fee basically.
