I have a mid terrace ex-LA property and the tenants are complaining of specific drain problem with downstairs toilet backing up occationally and a bad smell, however all other drains are fine in the house.

Talked to 2 other tenants on the row and they also have the same problem which makes me think that it may be a problem with drains of the row not mine. Council have been out and passed the buck saying its nothing to do with them.

Anything else I could try without resorting to forking out myself?

Chris
