We bought a property 4 years ago, unknowingly, without any electricity supply. The outside meter had been taken out by Scottish Power, prior to our purchase of it, because children had been trying to vandalise it and the house was then unoccupied. We have been in touch with Scottish Power over the years about having the electricity reinstated, however, there is going to be a charge of £3000.00 for this, which we find unreasonable. As this is the only way we can have the electrical supply reinstated, is there any way we can dispute this unjust charge,
