I have a 4 bedroom property and ten days ago 4 postgrad students moved in. None of them knew each other but they had got together online, all signed a joint tenancy agreement and began living in the property. Several days later one of the tenants vacated the property during the middle of the night taking all her belongings with her. She did not tell me or her flatmates that she was going and has been impossible to contact since. It has also come to my attention that she was the only one not to have paid in her deposit or first months rent. Also on leaving she took the tenants copy of the tenancy agreement which was a bit strange as i still have a copy. How should i proceed?
