Death of a tenant

A tenant moved into a property and paid 6 months rent up front. On week two he committed suicide. We continued to hold the monies until a solicitor was instructed. The solicitor has now been instructed and is asking how much, if any is payable back to the estate.

Questions 1. Can we bill the deceased's estate for damage caused to teh property (place of suicide)

Questions 2. Can we bill the deceased's estate for the full 6 months of the fixed term?
