Please can someone help -

I've had a tenant leave and am currently doing up an Edwardian terrace house - I'm delighted to be finding tons of period features but as I intend to rent the house out again wonder if there is any Heath/Safety matters affecting the following:

After removing some "flush" hardboard from a door to one of the bedrooms - it's the original half glass panelled (top two panels of four - i.e. it's above waist height) - would I be able keep this - which I would love to do as its got the orginal (beautifully moulded) glass - or do I have to replace it with safety glass?

Also there is a downstairs lavatory - but this does not have a hand basin in this room - does it have to have one?

Many thanks

Alyson
