I have had a tenant contact me this morning advising she has had a letter addressed to her as the occupier put through the door advising there is a possession order against the house and she has to contact them within 7 days. The landlords of this property live in Australia and are not contactable apart from email which they dont tend to reply to. We have this months rent to pay over to them. Do we pay it? And what rights has the tenant got regarding the property?
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Thank you
