i am currently having 4 properties repossed by chelsea building society,i always paid by debit card at the end of every month unfortunately the year previous i had some personal financial problems.
The accounts were each in of arrears by £900.00 i had various payment plans in place which i kept too however they went for repossesion on the fact i was supposedly 2 months in arrears the ombubudsman informed me they want £17,000 arrears and £59,000 costs? if i pay this i can have the properties back its seems to me its better business to reposses especially if the solicitors are almost in house.
ihad a heart attack in December the notified my tennants on the 23rd December.
Chelsea Building Society lost £43 million in one part of the year and replaced the fianance director and Chairman they also borrowed money from the Bank of England to stay afloat.
