Hi,in order to get round taking tenancy deposits i tell tenants i require 4 weeks rent in advance, (a good number are on housing benefit).

Today i have taken £360 which is 4 weeks in advance. The rent will be paid direct to me by the council (in arrears) due to tenants circumstances. I have told the tenant the £360 is 4 weeks rent paid in advance. ( unofficially a bond)

I am confused if to tick the box where it says " tick the box if you agree to us collecting two rent payments in advance at the start of the tenancy. One is for the first rent period and the other is a payment for the next rent period "

Do tick the box ? although i am not taking two rent payments in advance i am taking 4 weeks. On the tenancy agreement i say the rent is £90.00 per week would it be better to say it is £360 every 4 weeks although even then i am still only taking 1 rent payment in advance.

i am still using the RLA Document Printer 2.1as i find it so easy to use.

Any help or suggestions are really appreciated.
Mark
