We rent out a flat in a block of 15. The newly appointed managing agents have written to say that there is a problem with members of the public using the parking. Each flat only has one allocated parking space which is not visibly numbered and there is no spare visitor parking. At present there are only about 6 flats occupied.

They are proposing to employ a company to patrol and take action against people parking (clamping?). Residents will have to display a permit.

Any opinion on the effectiveness of this would be appreciated. I'm thinking an alternative might be electric gates but don't know how the cost would compare.

Thanks
