I am really grateful for your advice.

My tenant has had her rent paid directly to me by the Council and at the time she moved in she was a single parent (4 years ago). Recently, it has come to my attention that her partner is living with her in the property. I am really concerned that this will jeopardise the rental and also that she is claiming benefit under false pretences. I am unsure what to do and really appreciate any suggestions you can give.

Best Wishes, Suzy
