Hi
We have received a call from a tenant who is complaining that due to damp in a fitted wardrobe she has got mould damage on some of her clothes, including surprisingly, an expensive Italian silk dress.
Does the tenant have a right to demand compensation from the landlord for the damage to the clothes.
There was an issue with water coming in the flat roof over this bedroom which the landlord has resolved some time ago.
