I have just had a credit/reference check come back saying rejected due to an unsatisfied CCJ. the applicant still has £1510 left.

Can anybody give me some advice on CCJ's please?

Do I leave myself open by taking on a tenant with unsatisfied CCJ's? I'm not sure of any legal issues here so any advice is appreciated.

This couple seem genuine and decent so Im not sure I want to outright reject for something that may be trivial, I just don't want to be caught out with any loopholes or legalities.

Would you take them on?
