Is anyone else in the unfortunate position of owning a leasehold property. I am trying to extend my lease and it does seem an unbelievable rip off--almost as if you rented to someone and half way decided to double the rent as the lease was getting shorter! So said, it seems one is stuck and I wondered if any of you have had a good surveryor and solicitor that they could recommend --surveyor especially who could negotiate well on behalf of the leaseholder. thanks
