Besides gas ch, I also provide my tenants with an electric fire in for their sitting room. One of my tenants claims that the "fire/surround suite" that he has no longer works - I've told him not to use it any more. He doesn't want it taking out. But says He wants one of the electric/stove/wood burner electric free-standing fires - I've got one at home I bought last January(12) and have hardly used - can I give him this or do I need to have it checked by an electrician/Provide him with a brand new fire?

Many thanks
Alyson
