Following a heated discussion with my tenant on the weekend when I told her I thought it would be best for both parties for her to start looking for another property I had a text yesterday (rent day) telling me she intends moving out in 2 weeks and has thererfore only paid 2 weeks rent into my account. Can I print this off as a legally binding end to whats been avery turbulent 2 years tenancy?? I realise i'm loosing out on 2 weeks rent but providing its legal would prefer to have her leave our property.
