Clause C10 of the standard RLA agreement does not allow tenants to "carry on any profession, trade or business in the property". A tenant has asked if they can use the two bed apartment for business purposes, which will involve meeting customers in the second (unfurnished) bedroom. If we agree to this and we are not in breach of a head lease, could we simply score out clause C10 and get tenants and us to initial it. We have not encountered this before but with the growth of home working we may well get more requests of this type.
