Dear RLA
My tenancy agreement is 12 months with a 6 month break. If tenants do not take the 6 month break they are tied in until the end of 12 months. More and more tenants are starting to query this - saying it is not normal, and every other agreement they have ever had has been 6 month lock in and then option to give 2 months notice (on rent payment/contract date) at any time after that. Is that normal? Should I change my agreement?
Thanks
L Watts
