i have had a couple as tenants, they have now split up and she has left.

her dad is guarantor, and she has asked by txt that she wants half deposit back, oh and dad dont want to be guarantor anymore.

he is staying on in flat and i have no problem with this.

please advise which is the best way to deal with this.
