Heard from fellow landlord who uses similar forum that the deposit schemes pass private details which include addresses, deposits and rent information to the HMRC.
Think this is a kick in the teeth to landlords who didn't before take deposits and have been persuaded to protect it in a scheme.
Isn't this invasion of privacy?
Bet the HMRC are not chasing tenants who illegally use properties for illegal businesses.
What do you lot think?
