my son, who is in america at the moment is relocating to nottingham because of his job.Before leaving he found a flat to rent. The contract was signed and dated May 20th 2013. As he is in America the keys were to be posted to myself his mother. The letting agent assures me that these were posted last week (28th) but they still haven't arrived.In normal circumstances my son would have been occupying the flat since May 20th.What responsibility does the letting agent have to get the keys to us and can we reclaim any rent due to the fact the flat cannot be accessed?
