Our tenant has been served notice to leave our property by 21st June 2013 as we are in the process of selling the house. However, she has not yet been able to find somewhere else to go. It looks as if we will not complete on our house sale until later in the summer. I would like to be able to offer her the option of staying on and paying rent on a weekly basis until she finds another house or until we have a completion date in sight, whichever comes first. Would doing this cause legal problems as I can't imagine there is a contract for this kind of arrangement?
