I have a tenant who has registered their company address at my property. It is a clause under the tenancy agreement that this is not allowed.

The clause states: To use the premises only as a single private residence for the occupation of the tenant and not to carry out any formal or registerd trade, business or profession there.

Although I am sure the tenant is not running the business from my property. I was concerned that they have the property as the registered address of their company and what, if any implications this could have. My letting agent seems to think this is not an issue and has dismissed it as nothing.

But it is a clause and it has been breached is my point!

your advice would be apreciated
