Do I have to give a reason for serving a Section 21?

We have served a tenant with a Section 21 to quit. The tenant's parents are wanting to know the reason for this as the other tenants will be staying. Bascially the tenant and his father have been a complete headache. I constantly got emails (pages long) about petty issues within the house from the father. The son has caused trouble with some of the other tenants. I do not want to get into correspondence with him about this and just want the kid to leave. Where do I stand?

Thanks

Rachel
