Suppose a tenant initially wishes to sign a contract for 6 month, but later wants to renew it for another 6 month and again every time try to renew it just for 6 month.

Should the landlord pay for the protection every 6 month?

Is there any possibility to ask the tenant to pay for the deposit protection insurance after the 2nd renewal?
