My tennant informed me yesterday that he will be leaving at the end of this month, however he ended with My Dad will be moving in instead. His father lived with his son for the first 6 months of my current tennants tenancy though his father was never on the tenancy agreement due to afforability. I am told now that the father is on housing benefit which concerns me. Obviously this will be a seperate agreement to the one I had with his son. I have no reason to believe he would default but are there pitfalls in dealing with someone on housing benefit?
