My tenants deposited the keys through my letting agents post box and vanished with no forwarding address and not answering all calls and emails ( the latter now bounce). The tenants failed to pay their last months rent. They gave appropriate notice but vanished during the notice period.
Sorry to ask but, my agents are unsure on how to proceed and as there is £500 at stake I am keen to ensure the claiming process is completed satisfactorily. How should it be done?

I am told the TDS are refusing new claims for a period of 3 months. Are you aware of such matters and how would that affect any potential deposit claim? Surely there should be an immediate claim.

Please assist. This is new situation for me.
