I have put a deposit in the TDS for the first time. My tenant wishes to rent for a long period however, I have done the AST for 12 months and will renew each year. How do I continue a statutory periodic tenancy after the end of the fixed term and reflect this on the TDS database. I know I have to do it before the last day of the fixed term but how? Where is the database? I just want to be prepared so I am not charged each year if the current tenant wishes to stay.
