Now i realize I am one day out with the gas cert. British Gas who does it annually, had written to the tenant twice and because she had not got an appointment they wrote to me. By this time they could nor do it by the due date which is the 21st of this month which is a Saturday. The earliest they could do is Monday morning. therefore on Sunday there will be no gas cert. the agent is making a big fuss saying its a criminal offence and wants to send their own man to do it and wants me to agree. I dont want to do that as I already paid British Gas for it. If I ask the tenants not to be there on Sunday that should be sufficient isnt it? I know the agent wants to make a buck. Does one day matter? thats what even B/Gas asked.
