If a tenant wants to take up the tenancy/keys on the 18th of a month but wishes to pay monthly on their pay day on the 28th of the month. Do you charge the 10 days different and then the months rent in advance with deposit. Should the contract start on the 18th but then if 6 monthly will need to be extended to allow for the extra days they paid for at the beginning? I've confused myself and no doubt the rest of you! Any advice gratefully received.
